Subject: Lotus Notes 8.5 on Citrix using Mailto
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Install
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.1
Reproducible: Always

Hopefully someone can help with my problem, fingers crossed.
We are currently implementing a Lotus Notes 8.5 client installation on Citrix XenApp 5 running on Microsoft Windows 2008 X64. The installation has gone well thanks to the new Citrix aware installation.
The problem we have is when using mailto from the client. None of our clients will have a default mail client installed on them, so will use the Citrix Lotus Notes published application.
We have configured the published application with content redirection on the .mmm URLMailto extension. However, when we click a mailto, Lotus Notes loads but errors with "Invalid Directory or Device not Ready”.
This error occurs if Lotus Notes is loaded before hand as well.
I have read that others have managed to change registry settings to get this functionality to work, but cannot find what those keys are. The only ones I can find are to do with Lotus Notes 7, and they don’t work. I also have a ticket open with IBM, but they have not been of help so far and we are desperate for this to work.
We have also now tested this issue with Fix Pack1 and 2.
